To use most features of the Service, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Feature details for each plan are described in the extension's account settings and on the tl;dr website. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
• You may cancel at any time from the extension's account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again and your access continues until the period ends.
• We do not provide refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law.
• If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may downgrade your account to the free plan after a grace period of up to 7 days.

You may use the Service only for its intended purpose: summarizing publicly accessible web content for personal understanding and sharing. Any other use is prohibited. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

The Service generates AI summaries of third-party content. These summaries are transformative works intended to help users understand and discuss source material — they do not reproduce articles verbatim and are not a substitute for the original. We believe this use is consistent with fair use principles under 17 U.S.C. § 107, but we do not warrant that any particular use is non-infringing.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of third-party content. We do not claim any rights over content you summarize, nor do we endorse any third-party sources.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party content complies with that content's terms of service and applicable copyright law.

Copyright complaints (DMCA): If you believe content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to hello@tl-dr.cc with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (2) identification of the material at issue and its location; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA.

The tl;dr extension, website, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Silverwood Advisors, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

AI-generated summaries produced by the Service are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share individual summaries via the Service's built-in sharing features.
